Terms of Service
Read the terms that govern your use of MyMedAlert, including acceptable use, updates, disclaimers, and product limitations.
Using MyMedAlert
MyMedAlert is a medication reminder and tracking tool designed to help you organize schedules, reminders, and dose history.
MyMedAlert does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services.
Always confirm medications, dosages, and timing instructions with a qualified clinician or pharmacist.
Eligibility and responsible use
You may use MyMedAlert only in compliance with applicable law and only for lawful, personal use.
If you use the app for another person, you are responsible for having the right to manage that information and for entering accurate details.
License and acceptable use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use MyMedAlert for personal use.
You may not:
- copy, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the app or website
- reverse engineer, interfere with, or attempt to bypass security or access controls
- use MyMedAlert in a way that harms the service, other users, or violates the law
Data, backups, and exports
Medication schedules, reminders, and dose logs are intended to remain under your control. By default, core health-tracking information is designed to stay on your device unless you choose to export or share it.
You are responsible for securing your device, protecting any exported files or backups, and reviewing your records for accuracy.
Third-party platforms and services
MyMedAlert may be distributed through third-party app stores or may rely on third-party infrastructure to operate parts of the service.
Those third parties operate under their own terms and privacy policies, and your use of their services may also be subject to those separate rules.
Availability and changes
We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may also update these terms when the service changes.
If we make material changes, we will post the updated terms on this page and update the date shown above. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised terms.
Disclaimers and limits of liability
MyMedAlert is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that reminders will always be delivered exactly as scheduled.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyMedAlert is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including missed reminders, data loss, or harm resulting from reliance on the service without verifying medication instructions.
Ending your use of the service
You may stop using MyMedAlert at any time. We may suspend or restrict access if we believe the service is being misused or used unlawfully.
