Overview

MyMedAlert is designed so that medication schedules, reminders, and dose history remain under your control. In general, core medication records are intended to stay on your device unless you choose to export or share them.

This policy covers information you provide directly, information generated when you use the service, and limited technical data needed to operate, secure, and improve the product.

Information we may collect

Depending on how you use MyMedAlert, we may handle different categories of information:

  • information you enter in the app, such as medication names, dosages, schedules, reminders, and dose logs
  • messages, attachments, or exported records you choose to send us for support or troubleshooting
  • limited technical information such as device type, app version, website requests, or error details when needed to maintain reliability and security

How we use information

We use information only for purposes related to operating MyMedAlert and supporting users.

  • to provide medication reminders, tracking features, and related app functionality
  • to respond to support requests and troubleshoot problems you report
  • to improve performance, reliability, accessibility, and security
  • to comply with legal obligations or protect the rights, safety, and integrity of users and the service

Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share limited information with service providers who help us operate the website or app, when you direct us to share information, or when disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect the service.

Storage and retention

Information stored inside the app is generally kept on your device unless you export or otherwise share it. You control your own device backups and exported files.

If you contact support, we may retain those messages and any files you send for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, troubleshoot, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes.

Your choices

You can choose how much information you keep in MyMedAlert and what you share with us.

  • edit or delete medication information directly in the app
  • remove the app from your device at any time
  • decide whether to export records or send information to support
  • disable optional diagnostics or similar features if those controls are made available in the app

Children's privacy

MyMedAlert is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate authorization.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us without permission, contact us through the support details listed in the app or website so we can review the situation.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product evolves or as legal requirements change. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the date shown above.
